Tramon Williams won’t be back
in Green Bay.  Williams inked a 3-year, $21 million dollar
contract with the Cleveland Browns on Monday.
GM Ted Thompson wasn’t willing to offer more than five million dollars
per season.  Casey Hayward will have the
inside track on filling his starting spot on the other side of Sam Shields next
season.

Former Wisconsin Badger
linebacker Chris Borland announced he was retiring from football after just one
season with the San Francisco
49ers.  Borland told ESPN he was quitting
because of concerns over concussion issues.
Borland says he only had two diagnosed concussions in his career but
looking at research being done, he didn’t want to expose his body to that
trauma.  The 3rd round pick
was tabbed to start at linebacker for the 49ers this year after Patrick Willis
retired a few earlier this month at the age of 30 because of a toe injury.
