After this past
week’s tryout the Packers have decided to sign former Oregon tight end Colt Lyerla.  The 6-3, 242 pounder has a troubled past which
caused him to go undrafted.  He left Oregon for undisclosed
reasons after several off field issues and later was arrested for cocaine
possession and attempting to flee police. In two seasons at Oregon he caught 11 touchdowns and averaged
16.8 yards per catch.  The Packers also
signed former Hawaii defensive back Charles
Clay and Miami
defensive end Luther Robinson off of this past weekend’s tryouts.

The event consists of a bunch of different “games”.  The first 9 was a 2
person scramble.  On the back 9, player played a 2 person best ball and 4
of 6 scores counted for a team 9 hole score.  The total team score was the
sum of each team’s 4 of 6 score + all 3 scramble scores + all 3 best ball
