MLB Playoffs
David Price threw a complete game as the Tampa Bay Rays won the final American
League Wild Card spot with a 5-2 win over Texas on Monday night.  Price gave up just seven hits along with
those two runs and struck out four.  The
Rays will now travel to Cleveland
for the American League Wild Card Game on Wednesday.   Pittsburgh hosts Cincinnati
tonight in the National League Wild Card Game.


Mangers
The Cubs have fired manager Dale Sveum after just two seasons on the job.  He was 127-197 in those two seasons. The Cubs
were last in the NL Central this year.  Eric
Wedge is also out as manager in Seattle.  The Twins have given Ron Gardenhire a two year
extension.  The Mets are also keeping
skipper Terry Collins.


MNF
Drew Brees threw for 413 yards and four touchdowns as New
Orleans
moved to 4-0 with a 38-17 win over Miami. The loss drops the Dolphins to 3-1 on
the season.  Week 5 of the NFL season
kicks off on Thursday Night as the Browns host Buffalo


Packers
The Packers got back on the practice field on Monday after the Bye.  Green Bay sits
at 1-2 on the season and hosts 3-1 Detroit
on Sunday at Lambeau.  You’ll hear the

Bucks Media Day
NBA training camps open up across the league today.  Modnay was the annual media day for
teams.  This year’s version of the Bucks
features 11 new players and a new coaching staff led by Larry Drew.  Just four players return off of last year’s
squad that earned the 8th playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and
were swept by the eventual champion Miami Heat in the first round.  The Bucks first preseason game is next Tuesday
in Cleveland.
