The 6-0 Green Bay Packers
will have the week off with no game next Sunday.  Mike McCarthy hopes his team will use the down
time to get healthy.   McCarthy says that
wide receiver Ty Montgomery’s X-Rays on his ankle were negative.  The rookie was injured in Sunday’s win over
the Chargers.  The Packers are back in
action on November 1st when they travel to Denver for Sunday Night Football.

Former Packers tight end
Jermichael Finely has officially retired.
He hasn’t played since suffering a bruised spinal cord during the 2013
season.

The Badgers will travel to Illinois this
weekend.   That’s a 2:30pm kickoff.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  Freshman linebacker TJ Edwards was named the
Big Ten Freshman of the Week for his 16 tackle performance in last weekend’s
win over Purdue.

We’ve got Bucks preseason
basketball tonight on KFIZ as the Bucks take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at
the Kohl Center
in Madison.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm with the tip set
for 7:05pm.
