The World Series gets going tonight as
Kansas City
host the New York Mets. Edinson Volquez gets the starts for the Royals while
Matt Harvey starts for the Mets.  The first
pitch is set for 7:07pm central and will be televised on FOX.

 

Reports say the Brewers are set to
hire former San Diego Padres manager Pat Murphy as the bench coach. Murphy was
the interim manager in San Diego
this year after they fired Bud Black.  He
was a college coach of manager Craig Counsell.

The Bucks extended 3rd year
contract extensions of Tyler Ennis and Jabari Parker.  They also extended fourth year contracts of
Giannis Antentokounmpo and Michael Carter Williams

 

The Badgers ride a 5-2 record into
Saturday’s game with Rutgers at Camp
Randall
. The Badgers are
as banged up as they have ever been. 
Starting center Dan Voltz is out for the rest of the season with a knee
injury and wide reciver Robert Wheelright may also miss the rest of the year
with a leg injury.  Saturday game with
the Scarlet Knights kicks off at 11am on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

The Packers practiced in full pads on
Monday after taking the week off. 
Davante Adams, BJ Raji, Morgan Burnett and Nick Perry all practiced.  Mike McCarthy says that he expects Adams and
Burnett to play this week in Denver
for Sunday Night football, but they will wait and see on the others.  You’ll hear that game on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
