A season defining nine game
road trip opens tonight for the Brewers in St. Louis
Milwaukee will play three in St. Louis, three in Pittsburgh,
and then three more game in Cincinnati.  The Brewers are five game back of the
Cardinals in the National League Central and 1.5 games behind Pittsburgh for the NL’s final Wild Card
spot.  Wily Peralta takes on Lance Lynn

The Los Angeles Angels
became the first team in Major League Baseball to clinch a playoff spot last
night with an 8-1 win over Seattle.

 

The Packers take today off
before fully engulfing themselves in the Lions on Wednesday.  Many of the Packers will hit the links today
for the team’s annual golf outing at Black Wolf Run.  Green Bay
plays at Detroit
on Sunday.  The kickoff is set for noon
with a 10am pregame on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

Cody Parkey’s 36 yard field
goal as time expired gave the Eagles a 30-27 win over the Colts on Monday Night
Football last night.  Philadelphia is 2-0 while the Indy drops to
0-2.

 

The Minnesota Vikings announced
on Monday that running back Adrian Peterson would practice and play this week
despite being charged with child abuse in Texas
This comes as another accusation that Pederson abused another of his
children surfaced on Monday.

 

The Fond du Lac football team moves up one spot
to #7 in this week’s Associated Press Large School High School Football
Poll.  St.
Mary’s Springs remains #1 in the Small Schools Poll.  The Cardinals will host unbeaten Neenah on Friday night at
