The Pirates moved back into the first place in the National League Central after picking up a 5-2 win over the Brewers at Miller Park on Labor Day afternoon.  Neil Walker’s 3 run shot in the 7th was the difference.  The series continues tonight.  Coverage begins at 6:35pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

September Call-Ups

With rosters expanding in September, the Brewers have called up pitchers Johnny Hellweg and Jimmy Nelson and utility man Sean Halton. 

 

Packers Sign Wallace

The Green Bay Packers QB shuffle continues as the team cut BJ Coleman on Monday and signed veteran Seneca Wallace.  The 33-year-old veteran has throw for 4808 yards in his NFL career since 2005 along with 31 TD passes and 18 interceptions. The Packers also signed former Badger QB Scott Tolzien to the practice squad over the weekend
