–Fondy saw a 5-0 lead slip away as Lakeshore scored seven unanswered runs to win over the Dock Spiders at Herr Baker Field on Tuesday night. Caleb Summerhays drove in three runs in the loss for Fondy. The Dock Spiders are off tonight and open a four game road trip Thursday with the first of two against Rockford.

–Manny Pina went 2 for 3 with a double as the Brewers defeated the Cardinals at Miller Park on Tuesday. Jimmy Nelson finally got a win over St. Louis – he allowed two runs on six hits and struck out seven in six innings of work. Nelson had previously been 0-8 with a 7.01 ERA in 11 appearances against them. Corey Knebel added his 19th save of the year with a scoreless ninth. The two teams will meet again tonight, Brent Suter takes the mound for Milwaukee while the Cards counter with Luke Weaver. Coverage starts at 6:35, first pitch at 7:10 on KFIZ.

The Packers are off today after a day of practice on Tuesday in training camp. Tuesday’s practice marked the last early morning workout of camp, as the team will practice at night Thursday and Friday along with the Family Night Scrimmage set for Saturday. Mike McCarthy says moving to a night schedule helps them prepare for what’s to come in the regular season with prime-time games. Practice is scheduled for 6:15 pm Thursday and Friday.
