Badgers Arrive In Pasadena

The Wisconsin Badgers arrived in Pasadena on Christmas Day in preparation for next Tuesday’s Rose Bowl against Stanford.  It’s the third straight year that UW has been to the BCS game.  Interim coach Barry Alvarez says that Curt Phillips will start at quarterback against Stanford, despite Joel Stave being healthy after recovering from a broken collar bone.  Hear the Rose Bowl on KFIZ, January 1st.  The pregame is set for 2pm with the kickoff at 4pm.  It’s presented by Fondy Junior Football and the Fondy Quarterback Club.

 

 

Badgers Looking To Pros

Reports says that four Badger junior football players have taken out evaluation papers to see where there stock is at if they would decide to enter the NFL Draft.  Linebacker Chris Borland, WR Jared Abbrederis, and OL Travis Frederick and Ryan Grow all filed the proper paperwork to the NFL.

 

 

Bucks Basketball on KFIZ

The Bucks host Brooklyn tonight at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.  At 14-12, the Bucks are in 3rd place in the Central Division, one game behind the Pacers.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm on KFIZ.

 

 

Fondy Hoops on Thursday

The Fond du Lac boys basketball team travels to Milwaukee Bradley Tech on Thursday.  Coverage begins at 3:35pm with the tip set for 4pm on KFIZ.
