The Atlanta Braves scored all
of their runs with 2 outs in a 4-3 win over the Brewers on Tuesday night at Miller Park.  Tyler Cravey was the hard-luck loser, giving
up just 3 runs and 8 hits in six innings of work.  Jonathan Lucroy and Adam Lind each went deep
for Milwaukee.  The series wraps up this afternoon as Mike
Fiers gets the start for Milwaukee.  Coverage begins at 12:35pm on KFIZ.

Three Wisconsin Badgers have
been put on watch lists for college football awards.  Junior running back Corey Clement was named
to the “watch list” for the Maxwell Award, which is given annually to the best
player in college football.  Junior
linebacker Vince Biegel and senior safety Michael Caputo are candidates for the
Bednarik Award given annually to college football’s best defensive player.  The Badgers open up the season on September 5th
against Alabama in Dallas, Texas.


Former Wisconsin Badger Sam
Dekker inked a four-year, $8 million dollar contract with the Houston
Rockets.  Dekker was taken with the 18th
pick on the 1st round in last month’s NBA Draft. 


The United States Men’s
Soccer Team beat Honduras
2-1 in the Gold Cup on Tuesday night in Texas.  Clint Dempsey scored both goals for the USA.


The Fond du Lac Post 75 American Legion Baseball
Team stopped Waupun 10-0, five inning win on Tuesday night. Austin Wagner threw
a one hitter in the shutout.  Post 75
plays at Watertown
on Thursday night.
