Mets 3-2 on Tuesday night scoring single runs in the 1st, 6th
and 7th innings.  Mike Fiers
went six innings, giving up just 4 hits and 2 runs.  He gets the no decision.  Will Smith takes the win and Francisco
Rodriguez is 14 of 14 this season in save opportunities.    Jimmy Nelson takes on Bartolo Colon tonight

Virginia blanked Vanderbilt 3-0 to force a 3rd and
deciding game at the College World Series tonight in Omaha, Nebraska.

 

The Bucks continue to prepare
for Thursday night’s NBA Draft.  GM John
Hammond says with the current makeup of the Bucks, the draft is very important
to the team.  Milwaukee will pick 17th in the 1st
round.  They also have the 46th
overall pick in the 2nd round. 
Minnesota
has the #1 overall pick.

 

The National Hockey League wants
to change up the way overtime is played to reduce the number of games that end
via shootout.  League owners voted that
the five minute extra period will not feature 3 skaters on each team.  The rule change must be approved today by the
NHL’s Board of Governors.

 

The Fond du Lac American Legion Post 75 baseball
team hosts Hortonville tonight in a double-header at Herr-Baker Field.  Game 1 is set to throw the first pitch at
5:30pm.
