UW-Milwaukee picked up an
83-73 win over Detroit
in the 1st round of the Horizon League Tournament on Tuesday.  The Panthers will play Valpo on Friday at the
Resch Center
in Green Bay.  The winner of that one plays league champion UW-Green Bay.

 

Marquette lost at Providence
81-80 in double overtime last night.  The
Golden Eagles couldn’t hold a 3 point lead with less than :30 seconds to play
in regulation.  Davante Gardner had 15
points and 10 rebounds.

 

Michigan clinched their first out-right Big Ten title since
1986 with a win at Illinois
on Tuesday. 

 

The Badger men’s basketball
team hosts Purdue tonight at the Kohl
Center
.  Coverage begins at 7pm with the tip at 8pm on
News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

The Bucks host Sacramento tonight at BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The tip is set for 7pm

 

Oakland scored 2 in the 8th and 3 in the 9th
to beat the Brewers 6-4 on Tuesday in Cactus League play.  Jim Montz hit a two-run homer off of Johnny
Hellweg for the walk-off win.  Wily
Peralta gave up one hit in three scoreless innings for Milwaukee
The Brewers play Oakland
again today.  No radio broadcast
