Last
night the Orioles hosted a conference meet. There were five boys teams and four
girls team in attendance. Kettle Morraine Lutheran won for the girls, while
Omro took the boys title. The strong wind played a factor, but the Orioles
still managed to earn some PR’s on the night. They were: Justin Newhouse
(100m), Jacob Michels (100m), Jordan Ives (100m, 200m, and long jump), Drew
Patel (400m and 200m), Frannie Sokolik (200m), Zach Choate (discus), Caleb Catt
(discus), Connor Krupp (long jump).

Next up for the Orioles is the Freshman/Sophomore Conference Meet
at Saint Mary’s Springs on Friday while the Conference Meet is at Winnebago
Lutheran on Monday.
Also on Friday, Faith Peebles and Frannie Sokolik will be
representing the Orioles at the Standards Meet at Monona Grove. This is a meet
where the participants have to meet a time requirement in order to enter.
Frannie will be running the 100m and Faith will be competing in the 400m and
800m (she also qualified in the 1600m).
