After three close losses to
the Mets, the Brewers picked up a 2-1 win in their series opener at Atlanta on Tuesday
night.  Ryan Braun homered in the 4th
and Scooter Gennett singled home the game winner in the 8th.  Michael Blazek picked up the in relief of
Jimmy Nelson.  Nelson gave up one run and
four hits in six innings of work.  Jeremy
Jeffress notched saved #12.  Junior
Guerra gets the start tonight in game 2 of the series. Coverage begins at

Fond du Lac boys golf team finished 4th at the DePere Regional on
Tuesday night, which advanced them to Sectionals.  The Cardinals Elliot Nielsen finished tied
for 2nd with a 77, just one shot off the lead.  Fondy’s Joe DuChateau tied for 6th
with a 79.

 

In
Division Two boys golf, Waupun advanced to the Sectional with a 2nd
place finish at the Mayville Sectional. 
Mayville also advanced with a 4th place finish.  Winnebago Lutheran also advanced to the
Sectional with a 4th place finish at Rolling Meadows.  The Vikings Chris Colla was the meet medalist
with a 71.

 

In
Division Three boys golf, St. Mary’s Springs won their Regional at Rock River
Country Club.  Central Wisconsin
Christian advanced with a 3rd place finish. The Ledgers Patrick
Treichel was the meet medalist with a 72 while his teammate Brady Sarauer was 2nd
with a 74.
