Badgers Host UWO

The Badgers host UW-Oshkosh tonight at the Kohl Center in their exhibition opener.  New Titan head coach Pat Jukem says they hope to learn a lot from the opportunity to play the Badgers.  You’ll hear the game on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 6pm with the tip set for 7pm.

 

Bucks

The Bucks take their 2-0 into tonight’s game with Memphis tonight at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.  Milwaukee beat Boston and Cleveland over the first weekend of the season.  Tonight’s tip is set for 7pm in Milwaukee. 

 

Packers Off

With the Packers off this weekend, they are spread across the country recharging their batteries for a 2nd half playoff push.  Despite all of the injuries on defense, AJ Hawke says they have showed improvement over last year.  Head Coach Mke McCarthy is happy his team got back to 6-3 after the 2-3 start to the season.  The Packers travel to Detroit on Sunday, November 18th.

 

Sugar Bowl To Host Champions Bowl

The SEC and Big 12 announced that their champions will meet in the new Champions Bowl at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans rather than the Cotton Bowl in Texas. The first game on January 1st, 2015 will pit the champs from the Big 12 against the champs of the SEC.

 

Marian Soccer Players Honored

For the first time, two Marian University men’s soccer players have been named to the Capital One Academic All-District 6 team as Denny Mudd and Everett Zank have earned the honor in 2012. Both players are now eligible to earn Academic All-American status, which for Zank, would be his second such honor after earning it last year.
