The high school football playoffs begin on Friday night and
we’ll have a pair of games on the air at Mountain Dog Media.  Right here on KFIZ, Fond

broadcast booth for the game, which will also stream at kfiz.com.  On K107.1-FM, St.

Oakfield’s first 8-man football season will continue.  The WIAA doesn’t sponsor a playoff for the 8-man style of football but does sponsor an 8-man jamboree on November 2nd at DC Everest in Schofield, featuring the top 4 teams from the north and south regions of the state.  At 4-4 , Oakfield didn’t initially qualify, but Madison Abundant Life turned down a bid and Oakfield accepted.  The Oaks will play Bowler/Greschem at 10am that day.
