The Houston Astros blanked
the New York Yankees 3-0 in the American League Wild Card Game on Tuesday night
in The Bronx.  All-Star Dallas Keuchel and three relievers pitched
the three hit shutout.  The Astros will now
face Kansas City
in the Division Series.  The National
League Wild Card is set for tonight as Pittsburgh
hosts the Chicago Cubs.

 

The Packers are back on the
practice field today as they begin preparations for the St. Louis Rams at
Lambeau on Sunday.  Coverage begins at
10am with the kickoff set for Noon on KFIZ.

 

The Badger football team
heads to Lincoln
to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday.  Coverage begins at 12:30pm with the kickoff
at 2:30pm on KFIZ. 

 

Hartland Arrowhead won the
WIAA Girls Golf Sectional at Rolling Meadows by
24 shots over Homestead
on Tuesday.   Fond du Lac had a pair of individual
qualifiers.  Margaret Krolczyk finished
25th with a 90 and Hannah Lange was 38th with a 97.

The Fond du Lac girls tennis team had a good
effort at the Sub-Sectional at Beaver Dam. 
Melina Zompolas at #1 singles, Kelly Hierl at #3 singles and the #1
double team Annie Hierl and Maddy Bahr all advanced to the Sectional.
