The Brewers fell to St. Louis 4-2 on Tuesday
night.  Wily Peralta took a no hitter
into the 6th and then gave up a two run homer to Matt Holliday.  Logan Shafer homered in the 9th to
break up the shutout. St. Louis leads the NL
Central by 1 game over Pittsburgh.  The series continues tonight.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm on KFIZ. 

 

Brewers Schedule Out

The Brewers released their
2014 schedule on Tuesday.  The crew opens
the season at Miller Park on March 31st against Atlanta.  Then head to Fenway
Park in Boston on April 4th for the Red
Sox home opener.  Then they play in the
home opener at Philadelphia
on April 7th.  The Brewers
interleague foes include the Yankees, Blue Jays, Orioles, Red Sox and Twins.

 

Packers

The Packers get back on the practice
field today as they get ready for the home opener against Washington on Sunday at Lambeau.  Coverage begins at 10am with the kickoff at
noon on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ and streaming at kfiz.com.

 

Big Fine

The NFL has fined Detroit defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh $100,000 for a low
hit in the team’s win over Minnesota.
 It’s the largest fine ever issued for an
on-field hit in the NFL.

The Badgers travel to Arizona State on Saturday night.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  The game kicks at 9:30pm.

 

World Cup

The United States beat Mexico 2-0 on Tuesday and will
qualify for the World Cup.

registered their first win over Oshkosh West since 2004 with a 104-81

Laconia won both the boys and girls meet at
Markesan. The Campbellsport boys took second place.  The Cougar girls
placed fourth as a team.
