Logan Schafer’s suicide squeeze bunt in the bottom of the 9th gave the Brewers a 4-3 win over Cubs on Tuesday night.  The bunt plated Carlos Gomez and made a winner out of Jim Henderson. Gomez homered and had 3 RBI on the night.  Starter Marco Estrada struck out 7 and gave up just 4 hits and 3 runs in seven innings of work but gets the no decision.  The series continues tonight as Tyler Thornburg gets the nod for the Crew.  Coverage begins at 6:35pm on KFIZ.

The jockeying for position in the NL Central continues.  The Cardinals beat the Rockies and the Pirates lost to San Diego.  St. Louis has a 1 game lead in the division over Pittsburgh with the Reds 2.5 games back.

The Packers get back on the practice field today as they get ready for a trip to Cincinnati on Sunday.  The injury report comes out so we’ll get our first update on RB Eddie Lacy who left Sunday’s win over Washington with a concussion. Marian vs. Milwaukee

The Marian University men’s basketball team will play an exhibition against UW-Milwaukee this season.  The Sabers and Panthers will tip at the U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee on Thursday, October 31st at 7pm.  It will be the first time Marian has ever played an NCAA Division One basketball program.

Bucks Legend Joins TV Crew

The Milwaukee Bucks announced on Tuesday that Sidney Moncrief will be a part of the team’s local TV coverage this upcoming season.  The team says that Mocrief will split time as an analyst with Jon McGlocklin, who is entering his 38th season on the Bucks broadcasts.  Each man will work about 36 games this season.
