Jake Arrieta dominated the
Brewers in a 3 hit complete game 4-0 shutout on Tuesday night at Wrigley
Field.  Arrieta struck out 11 as he
becomes the 1st Big Leaguer to reach 20 wins this season.  Khris Bryant set a Cubs rookie record with
his 26th homer of the season for the Cubs.  Tyler Cravy dropped to 0-8 with the loss. The
series wraps up tonight.  Coverage begins

Berra has died.  He won 10 championships
with the New York Yankees.  He was a 15
time all-star and a three time MVP.  He
was 90.


The Badger football team
hosts Hawaii under the lights on Saturday
night at Camp Randall.  We’re still not sure if running back Corey
Clement will play against the Warriors as he nurses a groin injury.  He should be good to go for the Big Ten
opener against Iowa
on October 3rd.  You’ll hear
the game on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 5pm
with the kickoff set for 7pm.


The Packers have an extra day
to get ready for the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.  You’ll hear that one on KFIZ as well on
Monday night.  The Packers plan to honor
players from the 1st Super Bowl between the two teams at the game.


The Milwaukee Common Council
approved a financial plan for a new arena in downtown Milwaukee
The Bucks hope to break ground in November.  In other good news for the team, last year’s
#1 pick Jabari Parker should be ready to go when the team opens up training
camp next week.


Fond du Lac moves up one spot to #4 in this week’s
Division One Football Poll.  Kimberly
remains #1, followed by Arrowhead and FranklinSt. Mary’s
Springs holds steady at #2 in the D6 poll behind Edgar.  Oakfield moves up two spots to #7 in the
8-Man poll.


It’s Homecoming week for Fond du Lac High School as they host Oshkosh West on
Friday night.  You’ll hear the game on
