The Brewers lost
to the Reds 3-1 last night.  Milwaukee’s only run came
on a Carlos Gomez home run the 6th
clinched a Wild Card spot with a 3-2 win over the Braves.  The win also moves the Pirates within 1.5 games
of St. Louis in
the N.L. Central as the Cardinals lost to the Cubs 4-3.  Milwaukee
still has slim playoff hopes.  If they
win their final five games and the Giants lose their final five, they would
force a playoff for the final Wild Card spot.
