Andrelton Simmons single in the 9th plated the
winning run as the Braves edged Milwaukee 3-2 in
Atlanta.  Donovan Hand was stung with the loss for Milwaukee.  Jeff Bianchi had a pair of hits including his
first homer of the season in the loss. 
The series wraps up tonight as Kyle Lohse takes on Paul Maholm.  Coverage begins at 5:35pm on KFIZ.

 

The Cardinals held their 2 game lead in the NL Central with
a 2-0 win over Washington.  Starter Adam Wacha lost a no-hitter on an
infield hit with two outs in the 9thPittsburgh
stays two back with an 8-2 win over the Cubs. 
The Reds drop three back with a 4-2 loss to the Mets.

 

With no game this weekend the Packers are off today thinking
about their 1-2 starter.  They host Detroit on October 6thDetroit
has lost WR Nate Burleson to a broken arm. 
He was injured when his got into a single car accident after trying to
stop pizza boxes from falling off the seat of his car on the way home. 

 

The Badgers are gearing up for a trip to Columbus
on Saturday night to play Ohio
State
