State Leaders Look To Address Housing Shortage

“We are lacking new construction. We are lacking the ability to develop lots. Every angle, every segment is being affected. That creates other problems. These are families that are unable to get into homes.”

A package of proposed legislation from Republican lawmakers seeks to address the shortage. Those lawmakers say want to cut red tape and regulations and create new housing tax credits.
