State of the State Reaction

In his sixth State of the State Address Governor Scott Walker touted the advancements the state has made during his terms in office. State Representative Gordon Hintz of Oshkosh says the Governor is guilty of cherry picking meaningless statistics. He says Walker ignored we had the highest number of layoffs during any time in his administration and that we continued to be dead last in the Midwest in job creation over the last five years. But State Representative Jeremy Thiesfeldt of Fond du Lac says the Governor emphasized the state’s success by including the personal stories of individuals that have been helped. He says state programs assisted them in moving forward for a better future.
