State Of WI Extends Ban On Disconnections Until October 1

The state of Wisconsin is giving people more time to pay their lights and gas bills. One-third of Wisconsin power customers are behind on their utility bills. The Public Service Commission has agreed to extend the ban on disconnections until October 1st. Power companies in the state have been banned from shutting-off service since March because income lost to coronavirus restrictions. The P-S-C suggests people behind on their bills make payment arrangements as soon as possible.
