State Parks To Open Camping May 26

Gov. Tony Evers’ “Safer At Home” order was called off by the Wisconsin State Supreme Court on Wednesday. Despite that move, the DNR says State parks will continue to operate under different guidelines since reopening at the beginning of May. This includes different hours and requiring park stickers. Another new rule limits parks to 75 percent capacity. Staff will monitor the amount of parking spaces to give them an idea of how many people are there. Officials remind park guests to continue social distancing and do the responsible thing to keep everybody safe. Camping is still closed until May 26.
