State Report Cards Showing Fond du Lac County Schools Performing Well

The release of school district report cards
across the state this week shows several districts around our area doing fairly
well.

The report ranks schools based on a series of factors, including student
achievement and district growth in English Language Arts and Mathematics –
along with closing gaps in those areas, along with closing gaps in the
graduation rate. It also weighs the on-track and post-secondary readiness of
students in the district, as well as student engagement indicators.

The Fond du Lac and Waupun
School Districts “meet expectations,” while
North Fond du Lac, Campbellsport, Ripon, and
Rosendale-Brandon are ranked in the “exceeding expectations” category. The Oakfield School District was listed as “significantly
exceeding expectations”, scoring 84.5 out of 100 and blowing past the state
average in every priority area.
