Stocks On A Wild Ride To Start The Week

The markets are taking investors and analysts on a roller coaster ride today (Monday 3/9/2020). Once the bell opened, stocks nose-dived, down almost 2,000 points, before a halt was issued in trading.

As of 12 P.M. today, the free-fall had leveled off a bit, with the Dow Jones down over 1,800. The NASDAQ was down 504 points, with the S & P down almost 200 points. A price war for oil and the coronavirus fallout are putting a fair amount of fear into investors. Saudi Arabia also initiated a price war over the weekend, ramping up its clash with Russia.
