Stolen Vehicles from Dodge County Involved in I-41 Chase

Three teenagers from Milwaukee are in custody after a
high speed chase that started near Lomira and ended in Washington County in the
early morning hours Wednesday.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office notified Washington
County Deputies about an alarm at an auto auction business on the north side of
Lomira around 12:30 AM Wednesday. A witness told dispatchers they saw three
vehicles leave the scene going south on Interstate 41.

Washington County Deputies located the vehicles traveling
together on I-41 near Highway 33. The drivers then accelerated to speeds in
excess of 100 miles per hour after seeing police in the area. Germantown Police
along with Sheriff’s Deputies set up tire deflation devices near Holy Hill
Road.

One car crashed into a ditch while trying to avoid the
spike strips – all of the people inside ran from the scene and are still at
large. The second car exited the highway at Holy Hill Road and was located,
unoccupied at a home in Richfield. The third car attempted to exit at Holy Hill
Road, but crashed. A female passenger was arrested on scene, with two males that
were inside the car arrested nearby.

All three of the cars involved in the chase were confirmed
stolen from Dodge County.

As of this morning, the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office was still looking for the people who were inside the other two vehicles.
