Intersection Closure Announced In Fond du Lac

The City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works announced Tuesday that the intersection of Doty Street and Sibley Street will be closed to the motoring public.

In a press released issued by Paul DeVries, Director of Public Works, the closure is currently in place and will remain closed for two weeks. The closure is required to allow the utility contractor to set up a generator and bypass for the sanitary sewer at the intersection. The generator will be running 24 hours a day in order to keep continuous flow of sanitary from the city to wastewater treatment plant.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes in order to avoid the area.
