Stucky Joins UW-FDL As Continuing Education Director

Rhonda Stucky has joined the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac as director of continuing education, responsible for developing credit and non-credit programming serving the professional, academic and cultural needs of the community.

 In her role, Stucky will coordinate credit outreach courses, youth programs, healthcare exam prep courses, online learning opportunities, professional development courses and educational travel.

 She will be responsible for College for Kids, GEMS and youth athletics, as well as credit outreach programs for degree-seeking students like the recent Biology of the Florida Keys course. Professional development courses such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and pharmacy technician exam prep courses are also part of the continuing education department at UW-Fond du Lac. Numerous online courses are offered through continuing education in a wide range of topics from accounting fundamentals to grant writing.

Stucky most recently served as an adjunct professor of educational technology at Marian University in Fond du Lac, while also offering contract services through her business, ComputerEase Consulting.

Stucky earned a bachelor’s degree in education, mathematics and computer science from Concordia University in Seward, Neb. She earned a master’s degree in education, with an emphasis in educational technology, as well as an online teaching certificate, from Marian University.

She resides in Fond du Lac with her husband, Bradd, and two children, Katie and Ben.
