Student Cooperating with Police after Triggering Oshkosh North Lockdown

An Oshkosh
North High
School
student who triggered a lockdown at the
high school this week is reportedly cooperating with investigators. The 16-year
old was taken to a hospital for treatment after being found wandering near the
Oshkosh Correctional Institution on Thursday.

Concerns over his “erratic
behavior” and a report of a gun feared to be missing from his home led to a lockdown
Thursday. Authorities say no guns were determined to be missing from the boy’s
home and students and staff were not in danger at any time during the incident.
No decisions have been made yet regarding any possible disciplinary actions.
