Tuesday saw 23 sturgeon harvested from Lake Winnebago as the spearing season continued on. Stockbridge Harbor led the way with six fish registered, followed by Waverly Beach with five, Wendt’s with four and Calumet Harbor and Payne’s Point with three each. Brian Voss of Van Dyne had the largest fish on Tuesday – he speared a 112.8 pound, 67.9 inch sturgeon. After Tuesday’s day of spearing, the season total on Lake Winnebago stands at 360 fish.
