Sturgeon Report – Day 12 : 2/20/19

Wednesday saw 13 sturgeon speared on Lake Winnebago as only four days remain in the season for 2019. Stockbridge Harbor had the most fish registered Wednesday with five, followed by three at Waverly Beach, two apiece at Calumet Harbor and Paynes Point and one registered at Wendt’s. The largest fish of the day went to Greg Radtke of Weyauwega, who had an 80 pound, 68 inch sturgeon he registered at Waverly Beach. After Wednesday, the total number of sturgeon speared on Lake Winnebago stands at 373 with an overall total of 680 fish registered from the entire system.
