Sturgeon Report – Day 6: 2/14/19

Day six of the sturgeon spearing season Thursday ended with identical numbers to day five. Thursday saw 14 fish speared on Lake Winnebago with 12 fish taken on the upriver lakes. The largest fish of the day went to Christina Stolle of Menasha – her sturgeon was 79 pounds and measured 67.8 inches long. Stolle is a first time sturgeon spearer! Randall Sorensen had the largest fish on the Upriver Lakes today. His sturgeon weighed in at 72.4 pounds and was 66.8 inches long.
