Sun Prairie Shooting Suspect Located and Arrested in FDL County

A 16-year-old from the Madison area who shot his older
brother Tuesday night was taken into custody in Fond du Lac County. Police in
Sun Prairie report a 23-year-old man was shot by his younger brother inside an
apartment complex in the city around 10:30 Tuesday night. Investigators say the
16-year-old took off from the scene and was later found in Fond du Lac County
during a traffic stop. He was taken into custody by the Fond du Lac County
Sheriff’s Office. He was returned to Dane County where he faces a charge of 1^st
degree recklessly endangering safety after being booked into the Juvenile
Reception Center. The older brother was taken to a hospital where he was last
reported to be in stable condition.
