Sunday Damage Reported In FDL County

It’s Labor Day weekend and a great many folks are out and about enjoying the last official holiday of summer. But it hasn’t been enjoyable for everyone.

FDL County Sheriff’s Deputies were notified Sunday of two separate incidents of damage. The first call came in Sunday morning at 9:35 a.m with a female caller reporting that two campsites at the Westward Ho Campground in Glenbulah awoke to find tires slashed. The two sites were next to each other, but there are no suspects in the incident.

The other damage call came in at 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning, with a 70-year old male reporting he had parked his Ford F-250 at the Prairie Trail Park and Ride on Winnebago Dr., and then hit the trail. He returned to find the window on his truck had been broken.

Anyone with any information regarding either of the two incidents is asked to contact the FDL County Sheriff’s Department.
