Sunday, March 8th Is Final Day For Shanties To Be On Lakes South Of Hwy 64

Longer days, more sunshine, warmer temps. It all points to one thing. Time to get your shanties off the lakes. The DNR is reminding you that this Sunday, March 8^th is the last day to remove ice shanties from inland lakes south of Highway 64. 

That includes the majority of lakes in our listening area. The DNR also urges anglers to NOT wait until the deadline as the warming temps and potential of early rains could complicate the removal of the shanties. Find out more at DNR.WI.gov
