Suspect Arrested In Child Enticement Incident Near Eden

The FDL County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a case of child enticement involving a 12-year old girl. Deputies were called out just before 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon, to the Eisenbahn Trail area, near Eden. 

The mother of the 12-year old reported that her daughter was on the trail, near Beechnut Rd, when she was approached by a 45-year old male, asking inappropriate questions and wanting to have sex with her. The suspect then took off from the area in a Red Grand AM, heading eastbound. 

Deputies were able to track down the suspect, and he is currently being held in the County Jail on Child Enticement charges.
