Suspect In Custody after Sheboygan Co. High Speed Chase

A 25-year-old man is in custody after leading Sheboygan
County deputies on a high speed chase Saturday evening. A deputy tried to pull
the vehicle over on Interstate 43 northbound near mile marker 113 around 5:30
PM when the driver began to accelerate. The pursuit reached speeds of around
115 miles per hour. The driver exited the interstate and began driving south on
Highway 42. The vehicle ended up with a flat tire after driving through a
ditch, then hit a squad car, a tree and two parked vehicles. The driver refused
to cooperate with officers, and was pepper sprayed and taken into custody. The
suspect was taken into custody for Fleeing an Officer, Hit and Run, OWI,
Resisting Arrest and Possession of THC. No injuries were reported.
