Suspect in FDL Shooting In Custody

The suspect in Tuesday’s shooting incident in Fond du Lac
is in custody. Fond du Lac Police announced Wednesday night that Mohamed G.
Elmhdati was taken into custody without incident around 6:45 pm by members of
the SWAT team at a home in the 100 block of north Sophia Street. Elmhdati is
being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on preliminary charges of Attempted 1st
Degree Intentional Homicide and Armed Robbery. The investigation into the
shooting is ongoing and further details on the case are expected when a
criminal complaint is issued.
