Suspect Taken Into Custody In N. Main St. Stabbing Incident

One person has been taken into custody following a stabbing incident late Monday evening in Fond du Lac.

KFIZ’s Breaking News Editor, Doug Raflik, reported FDL Fire Rescue and Officers with the Fond du Lac Police Department responded to the area near Leon’s Bar on the corner of N. Main St. and Arndt St..

A press release issued Tuesday morning by the Fond du Lac Police Department said the incident occurred at 11:51 p.m. Monday 5/3/2022), with officers responding to a report of a person suffering from stab wounds to the calf and the stomach outside of Leon’s Bar.

The injured male, a 47-year-old Fond du Lac resident was treated at the scene by City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue and transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers located an individual matching the description given by witnesses a few blocks away from the scene and were able to take a 35-year-old Fond du Lac male resident into custody without further incident.  The suspect is currently being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail on an outstanding Probation Hold.
