Tax Credits Approved for Oshkosh Corporation Headquarters

Tax credits potentially worth millions – along with a Department of Transportation grant – have been approved for the new global headquarters of Oshkosh Corporation. The company was awarded $35-million in tax credits for an expansion that resulted in hiring more people and buying from local suppliers, but that contract has been amended to become worth up to $55-million. Oshkosh Corporation broke ground on the new 190,000 square foot facility back in June – with 650 people expected to work there. A DOT grant worth $787,500 will be used in improve access from Interstate 41, while the City of Oshkosh is putting $3.4 million towards the road project, which should be done in about a year.
