A student at Theisen Middle School in Fond du Lac recently won
first place in his age bracket at the 2019 Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Skills Champions
Day. Ray Aguilar-Meza took first place in the 7th-8th
grade age bracket during the competition on Sunday, September 15th
at Miller Park. Nearly 1,400 boys and girls ages six to 14 participated in Brewers
Baseball and Softball Camps in Wisconsin this year. Each camp involves a skills
competition, which features batting, fielding, throwing and running.- with the
top 10 finishers in each age category being invited to Champions Day in
Milwaukee. Aguilar-Meza qualified for Champions Day by attending the Brewers
Academy in Wisconsin Dells in June. For more information on camps for 2020,
