Theisen Students Present Born To Be Wild Play

You won’t want to miss Theisen Drama Club’s presentation of Born to Be Wild by Bryan Starchman. It is a “wildly” funny play about animals and their interactions with the human world. The play involves everyday animals like cats (Olivia Arkin, Bastien Howard) and a dog (Cody Retzlaff), but it also highlights the opinions of lesser known animals like a tradition breaking one-legged flamingo (Jaimie Deschand), a news-anchoring monkey (Leigha Morin), a scheming raccoon (Kallie Daniels), a road-obsessed deer (Julia Naker), seemingly innocent insects (Elijah Fuchs, Sydney Petrie, Aiden Stewart), and various other inquizitive farm animals. Each scene is its own hilarious miniature play.

The performances will take place in the Theisen auditorium on Friday, March 9 at 7:00 P.M. and Saturday, March 10 at 1:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M.The cost is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for students, and children five and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets will be sold at the door. Doors open one-half hour before each performance.
