THELMA Exhibit Highlights German Artists Depiction Of Michels At Work

The Thelma
Sadoff Center
for the Arts in Fond du Lac
will open up an exhibit today that highlights the global work of Michels
Corporation. The exhibit by German-based artist H.D. Tylle will be featured on
both levels of THELMA’s Contemporary Wing until January 11. The exhibit People
at Work depicts various projects completed by Michels Corporation. “Michels
Corporation was introduced to Tylle by Kondex Corporation in Lomira,”said Tim
Michels, owner and vice president of Michels Corporation. “After viewing
Tylle’s work, it was obvious that he had a great talent for capturing “people
at work”.  We believed that having him
paint some of our jobsites and people would be a fabulous way to memorialize
and highlight Michels’ work. Most importantly, he showcases the hard working
people of Michels Corporation by bringing them to life in his paintings,”
Michels said. THELMA’s Contemporary Wing is open 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through
Saturday and until 8 pm the first Thursday of every month for THELMA Thursday.
Admission is free.
