Thelma Gets Donation From Horicon Bank

Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts in Fond du Lac and Horicon Bank recently announced that the bank pledged $25,000 to assist the organization in its mission to provide access to the arts. “We are honored and thankful for this generous donation from Horicon Bank,” said Kevin Miller, THELMA Executive Director. “It is with this contribution and others like it that THELMA can continue to provide access to the arts for our community.” Horicon Bank has a tradition steeped in art. Fred C. Schwertfeger, vice-president at Horicon Bank, is a member of the Wisconsin Arts Board, a board member of the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend, as well as serving as the president of the Friends of Horicon Marsh. “The arts are very important to the health and strength of our community and Horicon Bank strongly shares that sentiment,” Schwertfeger said. THELMA provides over 100 free events a year, and has affordable membership dues providing members with discounted rates for concerts, films and art exhibits. The two-level Contemporary Wing has free admission for all. To read more click here
