THELMA Names Co Chairs For Windy Dinner Thelma Style

Justin and Alexandra Smith and Grant and Katie Grinstead have been named as co-chairs of the 16th annual Windy Dinner THELMA Style, the largest fundraising event for Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts (THELMA).

Windy Dinner THELMA Style is set for Thursday, October 6. Reservations may be made at thelmaarts.org.

Justin Smith is the President and CEO of C.D. Smith Construction Services, In addition to the THELMA Board, Justin Smith is a member of the Marian University Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors for the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin.

Alexandra Smith is a member of the Charity Club of Fond du Lac and the Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund. She recently was a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Fond du Lac.

Grant Grinstead, of Vir-Clar Farms, is a member of the THELMA Board of Directors. Katie Grinstead, also of Vir-Clar Farms, is the president of the Fond du Lac County Fair Board and the Charity Club of Fond du Lac. She was named to Farm Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class in 2015.

Co-chairs set the fundraising goal, pick the theme of the evening which includes the caterer, as well as decide on the flow of the evening.

“Sasha and I are honored to be this year’s co-chairs and realize we have big shoes to fill,” said Justin Smith. “Last year’s co-chairs Pat and Rick Miller and Terri and Ron Emanuel set the bar incredibly high with the most successful Windy Dinner THELMA Style ever.”

Katie and Grant Grinstead echo those sentiments. “We are looking forward to adding a few new elements making the event even more fun to attend,” Katie Grinstead said.

The evening includes a cocktail reception, dinner, auctions, and entertainment. The recipient of the James C. Hubbard Windy Award will also be honored.

“THELMA is fortunate to have great support from our board and community as represented by the Smiths and the Grinsteads,” said Kevin Miller, THELMA’s executive director. “Both couples have dedicated themselves to bettering the community, and they bring that passion to THELMA and this major fundraising event.”

THELMA is located at 51 Sheboygan St., in the heart of Downtown Fond du Lac’s Arts and Entertainment District.
