THELMA Names Interim Executive Director

Fond du Lac’s Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts board of directors has named Shannon Kupfer , as Interim Executive Director.  Kupfer has a range of arts experience and is currently serving as Curator and Arts Education Coordinator, at Thelma.  She will begin her new role immediately.

Kupfer is committed to reaching out to all Thelma constituencies and engaging with all sectors of the Fond du Lac community.

Speaking on behalf of the Thelma Board of Directors, President Ron Emanuel stated in a press release that he extends his gratitude for the dedicated staff at Thelma and volunteers serving the organization.  “The board is excited to welcome Kupfer and continue the Thelma mission.”

Kupfer is ready to take on her added responsibilities stating:

“The arts give us the ability to see the world, ourselves, and each other in an entirely new lens. I bring my enthusiasm for the arts with me wherever I go because I know that it can tie a community together when it is shared and elevated with passion. Through education, creativity, and positivity, I will ensure THELMA is a cornerstone of the Fond du Lac community.”


Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts is a member-based, privately-funded non-profit dedicated to providing arts experiences not readily available in the area. Intimate concerts in the Great Hall, street concerts with major performers, indoor films, and art from world-renowned artists are available at THELMA.
