Third GOP Candidate Announces For 20th State Senate District Seat

A third Republican candidate has announced for the special election for the 20th State Senate District. Former supermarket executive and Calumet County Board supervisor Ralph Prescott announced his intention to run for the seat Glenn Grothman will give up to serve in Congress. Prescott joins State Representative Duey Stroebel and Ozaukee County Board Chairman Lee Schlenvogt in a bid for the Senate seat. Dates for a primary election and election for the seat have not been established yet. Governor Walker will announce that after Grothman resigns from the seat. However, a primary election could be held as early as December 16th.
